Project overview
Despite its importance and relevance, discussion of environmental and cultural sustainability is nearly absent in games education. In order to remedy this, we would like to establish a Nordic network focusing on environmental and cultural sustainability in gaming. As regional hubs for games education, the partner institutions will build on their complementary competences in order to teach about the issue, promote more sustainable gaming practices, facilitate better employment opportunities in the gaming industry, and use games to raise awareness of broader sustainability issues.
